Amor4EVER is a dance piece and a romantic ode to dance, premiering as part of the Mad House Helsinki early 2026 programme. Amor4EVER is unapologetically romantic and boldly naive. The team includes dance artists and choreographers Pie Kär (FI) and Maya Oliva (IT/FI) and dance/performance artist and musician Lintu Lunar (FI/DE).
We're inspired by the different stages of romance, flirting, courting and heartbreak. In the dance and song processes of the work, we want to capture a tender, naive and vulnerable language, where life and performance seek an emotionally unstable movement that plays with the borders between fantasy and reality. What particularly unites our group is our experience of dance as a means of survival and we want to share and celebrate the power of dance together.
Amor4EVER is a moment danced together, a dedication to love and romance, a time of revelation, pleasure and vulnerability. Amor4EVER is a love poem recited with a twinkly smile, a hopeful falling in love in a hopeless time, a reaching out from fear towards freedom.
“Are we going to be extinct at the same time? I hope we die at the exact same time, since I can’t live without your love. I hear you singing in the morning and I can fall in love, I see you flying to the sunrise and I can fall in love, I see you dancing your dances and I can fall in love again and again.”
